Chapter 44~Of Course.

~Tony’s POV~
~~~~~One month later~~~~~
I picked up Elisa from her crib as Kari picked up Lysander. She grabbed my finger with her hand and playfully swung it around. I smiled at her. We got the kids dressed and headed downstairs. Jesus was starting to get things ready for the picnic we were having with the guys and my parents. We set the kids down in the playpen so that we could help Jesus. We helped get some food and other things ready. We put everything in the car then returned inside. We picked up the kids and put them in their car seats. We all got in the car and I began to drive to the park. We arrived and got off of the car. Vic saw us and helped Kari take down the kids while Jesus and I unloaded the things. We headed over to find my parents and to find a good spot on the grass. Kari and my mom set blankets down on the floor and lay down the babies.
“Oh my gosh a slide!” Jaime said running off towards the playground. Vic and Mike followed after him. I saw my mom playing with Lysander. Kari picked up Elisa when she started to cry. She rocked her trying to calm her down but it didn’t work.
“Let’s go play my little girl.” I said as I took her from Kari. Kari smiled at me. I began to walk to the playground with her in my arms. We got there and I sat down. I placed her in my lap and she began to play with my hand. She swung her arms out in the direction of the slide when she saw Jaime go down it. “You want to go down the slide?” I asked her. She continued to stare at the slide in awe. I picked her up and walked over to the slide. I sat down and placed her on my lap once again. I went down the slide with her. She started to laugh and I smiled at her.
~Kari’s POV~
Tony took Elisa from my arms. I smiled at him.
“He’s really attached to her.” His mom said.
“Yea I know. He won’t set her down.” I said laughing a little.
“Looks like she’s going to be daddy’s little girl for sure.” she said. I nodded.
“Food is ready.” My dad said as he put the meat that he was cooking from the grill on a plate. “Could you go get the napkins? I forgot them in the car.” he said as he walked over with the food.
“Sure.” I said as I got up and walked to the car. I searched the car for the napkins and finally found them. I took them in my hand and began to walk to the spot. I saw the babies, Tony’s parents, and my dad there but not the guys. I set the napkins down and looked up. I saw the guys walking out from behind a bush in a line. They all spread out in front of me. Jaime’s shirt read ‘Will’. Next to him was Vic. His shirt said ‘You’. Next was Mike with a shirt that said ‘marry’. Finally was Tony. His shirt said ‘me?’ He got down on one knee and opened a small box.
“Kari, will you marry me?” he said looking me in the eyes. I felt my eyes become watery. I bent down and hugged him.
“Of course.”
