When You Can't Sleep at Night

~*POV Jaime*~
I walked back into the hospital room after talking on the phone with Vic. I sat down in the chair next to the bed, Tony was still asleep. He at least looked peaceful now, I hope that this is sort of a wake up call for him. Maybe he'll realize how dangerous his little 'stress reliever' is. I can't believe I never realized he was doing this, how could I be so naive? I wiped the sweat off of my forehead and leaned back into the chair, may as well try to relax a bit.
After about 30 minutes Vic and Mike walked in. Tony still hadn't woken up yet, so I took them out in the hallway to explain. They both looked worried, but Mike looked slightly worse than Vic.
"What happened?" Mike asked, once we were outside of the room.
"Well," I said, deciding how I wanted to say this, "I don't know how to say this but... He did this to himself..."
Vic looked confused, "Wait, did he like self harm? Or..."
"Yeah..." I said, my voice quivering, "He told me that he's been doing it since we were seniors."
Mike looked like he was going to sick, "Did he say why he started?" He asked, his voice sounding weak.
I nodded, "He said that he was feeling very worthless after a relationship ended at the end of his Junior year. He said that the person had some mental issues and even though he tried to take care of said person, they still left him." I decided not to mention the part about Tony being in a relationship with a guy, if he wanted them to know, he'd tell them.
Both Mike and Vic looked like they had seen a ghost. Mike especially, his face had lost all color and his eyes were wide.
"I- uh, that's terrible," he said, his voice stammering.
"I know," I agreed, "I can't believe he's done it for so long though. He said that it's turned into more of a stress reliever now, but it's still really dangerous..."
"Yeah," Vic said, his deep brown eyes filled with concern, "I've heard it's an addiction. It's going to take the 3 of us to help him beat it. You guys live together, right Jaime?"
"Well," I said, sheepishly, "Right now we live in a hotel room. We got kicked out of our old house with our old band before we found a new place."
"Why didn't say something?" Vic said, sounding offended, "You guys are staying with us until you find a place!"
I nodded and gave him a small smile, which he instantly returned. His teeth are so white and his smile is so sweet. I felt my face growing red.
"Guys," Mike said, interrupting our moment, "I think he's awake."
