Darling, You'll Be Okay
Chapter Six: Wonderless
The next day, I was released from the hospital. I had a few bruised ribs and a concussion so I had to be very, very careful. Sky, Jaime, and Mike had left a bit before I was released to go pick up my medicine for the store. It was just Vic, Tony, and I. Thankfully, Vic had his car so he drove me home.
Tony sat in the back with me. I was glad because I felt sleepy. We hadn’t talked that much since I “woke up”, but I felt really close to him for some reason. I yawned and rested by head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me and I quickly drifted into a blissful sleep.
~ Tony’s POV ~
I felt Ariel slowly rest her head on me. A big smile appeared on my face. She looked so tired, but she still looked as beautiful as ever. I put my arm around her to keep her warm.
I watched her as she drifted to sleep. She looked so adorable. I couldn’t stop looking at her. She just seemed so innocent. I could feel my cheeks growing warmer and warmer as I thought more about her. She was just so perfect in my eyes.
Vic looked up through the rearview mirror. “So Turtle,” He said, “When are you going to tell her?”
I looked up shyly, “T – Tell her what?”
He rolled his eyes, “That you’re in love with her.” My jaw dropped. “Oh come on Tone, anyone can see it. Dude, just by the way you look at her. You love her.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about… I love her as a sister… just like you guys do…” I said staring out the window trying to hide my red face.
“Mhmm. Suuure. Whatever you say.” He said.
My mind was swarming with thoughts. Was he right? Did I really love her? And if I did, would she even go for me? I’m the loner of the group… she probably likes Vic or Jaime or even Mike, not me. I sighed and continued to look out the window. This… whatever these feelings are… they’re probably just nothing… right?
A half an hour later we arrived at Ariel and Sky’s apartment. I texted Sky to let her know we were on our way up. I carefully woke Ariel up and told her we were home.
She immediately went for the car door trying to get out, but it was still locked. I giggled and unlocked the door for her. She jumped out and fast walked to the door of the apartment building. We took the elevator up to the 4th floor where her apartment was.
We stepped out of the elevator and my phone began to ring. It was Sky. “Hey guys,” I said, “Go on without me, I gotta answer this.” They nodded they’re head and started walking.
“He –” I started to say.
“SOS! DON’T LET HER COME INTO THE APARTMENT! I REPEAT, DON’T LET HER COME INTO THE APARTMENT!” Sky screamed into the phone, and then the line went dead.
Confused, I started to run after them, I found Vic, but no Ariel. “Where is she?!?!” I said franticly.
I heard a high pitched scream and knew it was her.

OoOoOoh cliffhanger! :Dcurrently writing chapter seven <3 hopefully I'll be able to post it later! But I'm not sure how much I'll be updating :/ my internet is down at my house and I'm currently at the library. but, hopefully I will be able to update via my phone or iPod or something.
